The starting point of any optical design is the most difficult. Experience provides a great launching point but inspiration and the creative process are critical especially when working with freeform LED optics.
Detailed Design
µOptic makes use of the following optical and mechanical analysis and design tools: Zemax Optic Studio, TracePro, ASAP, Photopia, Optalix, Onshape and Rhino3D. Designs start with a thought and sketch and end with ready to build 3D models.
Prototype & Test
Rapid prototyping and design verification are integral to a healthy product development process. µOptic has 15+ years of prototype experience and can assist with the production optical component supply chain.
